- Rethink the form, information, editing 

- What do you want/ need to communicate ? 

- Find a balance between design and content

- Express ideas through typography, page layout and the structure of information 

- What hasn't been done before? 

- Apply practical and technical process 

- Select, manipulate and apply appropriate media processes and technologies in the development, production etc 

- Test ideas 

- Consider where your book is found and restrictions 

- Can someone put the book together themselves? 

- Be curious 

- Experiment - then refine 

- consider justified design information by research and content 

- Think about positioning 

- Ask questions/ seek answers. READ, WATCH, VISIT
