Research - Why some people dislike Blackpool

The downfall of the British seaside left a huge number of boarding houses that had no customers. For this reason they got bought cheap and were turned into low quality bedsit accommodations. This brought the poor into Blackpool as it was made cheap to live and also made it a great idea for hens and stags to have a cheap weekend away.

- Blackpool is now one of the most deprived areas in Britain

- Older generations have cherished memories here and get angry now it is treated like an open toilet

- Blackpool is full of alcoholics, poverty and open drug abuse.
